Welcome to Anonymous Friend. By accessing or using our services, including online 1:1 audio calls and digital products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully before using our service. If you do not agree with these terms, you must refrain from using our services.

2. Services Provided

Anonymous Friend offers online, one-on-one audio calls with a listener for emotional support. These calls are not a substitute for professional therapy or medical advice and should not be considered therapeutic in nature. Our service provides a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals seeking casual conversation and emotional relief.

Additionally, we offer digital products, including but not limited to guides and e-books, which are available for purchase and download or sent to your email.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book a 1:1 audio call. Purchases of digital products are available to users of all ages; however, if you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to make this purchase.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use Anonymous Friend only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others. Disrespectful, aggressive, harassing, or inappropriate behavior (including but not limited to sexual content) will not be tolerated. Violating these terms may result in the suspension or termination of your access to our services.

5. Availability

We strive to provide 24/7 availability for our services, subject to listener availability. While we aim to ensure continuous access, there may be occasions when the service is temporarily unavailable due to technical issues or other circumstances.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Your personal data, including your communications with listeners, is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679. By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Payment & Billing Policies

Payments for services provided by Anonymous Friend are securely processed through Stripe and Paddle, trusted third-party payment processors. By using our services, you agree to Stripe’s and Paddle’s respective Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.

  • 1:1 Audio Calls: Payments for 1:1 audio calls are processed through Stripe. You agree to use only a payment method that belongs to you. If you use a card or payment method that is not in your name, you confirm that you have the explicit authorization of the cardholder to make this purchase. Anonymous Friend is not responsible for any unauthorized use of payment methods.
  • Digital Products (Guides, Books, etc.): Payments for downloadable or emailed digital products are processed through Paddle. These products are delivered electronically upon successful payment, and you acknowledge that they are non-refundable.
  • No Refunds: All purchases are final and non-refundable. Once a session is booked or a digital product is purchased, refunds will not be issued unless required by law.
  • Chargeback & Dispute Policy: By making a payment, you agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for completed services or delivered digital products. If a dispute is raised, we reserve the right to provide proof of service or product delivery to Stripe or Paddle, which may include timestamps, email confirmations, and communication logs.
  • Rescheduling Policy: Users may reschedule their session if they provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will result in forfeiture of payment.
  • Age Confirmation: By making a payment, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally eligible to use this service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anonymous Friend and its employees, contractors, or partners will not be held liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to emotional distress, loss of data, or business interruption.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Anonymous Friend at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including violations of these Terms of Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Romania.

11. Modifications
